Embarassment solely for the narrator of the song, or for other characters involved? ???

I was thinking just the narrator, but I suppose it's open to opinion

"Motown" is based mainly on the songwriting team of Lamont/Dozier/Holland as well as songs written by Smokey Robinson, and any of the artists who recorded for the label in the 60s and 70s (it goes into the 80s as well, but definitely not in the same spirit). Phil could enter "Please Mr. Postman" on that basis.

This should prepare everyone for the same category in a later Artistry round.

How about a parody about Audrey II to a Four Tops song since his voice was Levi Stubbs in the movie?

The only person who could really be embarrassed by the original movie would be Jack Nicholson.  ;D

I shall be creating a parody of 'Heard It On The Grapevine'. It shall be based upon the embarrassment a footie player might recieve if he breaks his leg NOT during a spectacular tackle, but only after messing about betwen halfs. The title? 'Broke It During Half-Time'!

Although when people think of Motown, they think of the 60s heyday with The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye etc....technically anything released on the Motown label is eligible....songs can cross a number of genres
