Voting deadline for ABC4(N) is midnight (amiright time)     Wednesday March 5th
No votes date-stamped after the voting deadline will be accepted - no exceptions


Vote by replying to this thread with your five favorites in order:

1st choice........5 points
2nd place.........4 points
3rd place..........3 points
4th place..........2 points
5th place..........1 point

or in algebraic terms, p = 6 - r     (p=points, r=rank)



RULES
- Any parody beginning with the current letter is eligible, except parodies that have been entered into ABC1 or ABC2 or ABC3
- You're not allowed to vote for your own parody
- Once you've posted a vote, you're not allowed to change it
- Anyone who's participated in any previous ABC contest may vote
- Any entrant who hasn't left a comment on all entries is disqualified and may not participate in the next letter
- Any entrant who doesn't vote by the voting deadline (above) is disqualified and may not participate in the next letter



ALSO
Under no circumstances will a vote that missed the voting deadline be accepted (even by 1 second)
However the resulting disqualification from entry to the next ABC4 comp may be over-ruled, if you do the following...

   1.  Post an "appeal" on this thread giving your excuse for missing the deadline, and plead for mercy
   2.  If your plea wins the sympathy of 3 other entrants your disqualification from the next round will be overturned
        Your late votes will still not count though 
        (if less than 4 entrants in the comp, only 2 sympathetic "Thumbs Ups" are required)

Well, I will be voting now. . .just for the record

No Hos was original written back in 2000 for a school project when I was 19, I realize it doesn't have varied choruses or the rap part, but it's part of my history--and changing it (like changing Wind Beneath My Butt) I just couldn't do because this was believe it or not originally written as part of a "Creative Writing Class". . .it is the fourth oldest of my parodies that have been recorded by actual original write date (though none of them are very old by AmIRight dates). . .but thanks for your comments anyway, I just have to point out because it doesn't seem for comment purposes that people know much of my history in parody. . .No Hos has been around through all three of my online personas (for those who aren't familiar with me--that's Adrenaline Boy from 2002-2004 and Skit from 1998-2001). . .

Anyway, my vote

HM to Stuart and Guy

1 Point to Matthias  (sorry guy, it was an amazing feat, but those choruses--well I'm sure I'll hear about it later)

2 Points to Kristof (Funny as this was, it's hard to believe I found three that I just thought were amazing enough to beat it on my list)

3 Points to Invisible Boy (One of your best to date, perfect rhyming, and I love the way you did the choruses)

4 Points to Agrimorfee (Awesome job, if the pacing had been a tad bit tighter--I'd probably rank this right up there with SLC)

5 Points to The Conqueror of Parodies (I still love this one TCOP, I always will, so dirty, so funny--and to such a tough OS, Awesome Job)

Well, As I said. I loathed the OS, I did this one early to get it out of the way. That's like if "Desolation Row" was on the list, I don't expect to see you doing the best parody of it, because you hate the song. Like I do with this song I would much rather take on any other song by Destiny's Child, but since this is the one you put on your list I was stuck with it, and as you know with the Decathlon you can force yourself to do a song, but if you don't like the original song you're not going to get the best score on it.
I'm also glad I went with "Damn Kitten" for SOTM, because even if I did win with this song I would hate to have my name and this song corelate in anyway.

I knew my 5 pretty quickly, but it was ordering them that got to me....so after much consternation, here tis!

5 pts: Conqueror. This OS is just about impossible to pace properly, and not only did bobpie pretty much pull it off, he took a great idea and just kept layering it with humour. One of your best, dude!

4 pts: Agri. A parody this epic demands attention, but the trick is to hold that attention throughout...which you managed to do wonderfully well, mate

3 pts: Stu. Another example of taking a funny idea (in this case, using OTT "etto" rhymes) and just milking every last drop of humour out of it....Stu, you are the master of this skill!

2 pts: IB. As I commented already in the parody, this OS just begs for a crazily funny treatment. When I can picture the video for a parody in my mind, I know I'm onto a goodun'!

1 pt: Matty. Loved the idea of a bored, frustrated Reaper going through the motions. Top stuff
