Years and years ago, I wrote a parody of "The Reflex" called "No Fat Necks". It's not even worthy of reprinting here...if anyone wants that for a parody title, be my guest.  ;D

I'm probably going to do "Hungry Like The Wolf", but in case I don't have time I'll have to go with a crappy ancient parody "The Matrix": http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/duranduran29.shtml

(Hopefully I will have time seeing that this parody is 3 years old)

"Frappuccino Hurl"

Great title, no matter what the OS may be.  ;D

Coming sometime soon - a young man is going to take 'A Maths Test'! OS chosen solely because it was in a Weird Al polka.

What?

I think I've just wrote about the most worthless topic of all time, "The Kleenex" is coming tomorrow!

I thought you were doing a Starbucks sendup...

My parody would've been up today...but AmiRight didn't update. Which is irritating. Should be up tomorrow.

What's also irritating is the way the date is set out...being Aussie, I'm used to having it Day/Month/Year, but for whatever reason the American way is Month/Day/Year. When I noticed that today was the 7th (here anyway), I thought I was gonna run out of time! Gave me a bloody heart attack, that did. Then I realized the date-setup-bizzo I outlined before. Then came the next heart attack.

Why do Americans put the month before the date? It makes no sense.

Matthias has the habit of changing topics and OS frequently. And now it seems that him and I have parodied the same OS (The Reflex). Which usually ends in tears (my tears, that is, cuz all times that someone else and I have parodied the same OS, their version always seem to garner more points). Which is irritating.

Why?  'Cause we do.  To me, the Aussie way doesn't make sense.  Don't know offhand why the date formats developed the way they did, or why they're different for us.  Other than, we tend to be stubbornly independant (screw the Metric System, soccer, and everything else popular elsewhere), and we just like doing things a bit differently.  ;)

And I'm pretty sure the original date was July 7, and was updated at some point this weekend to the 10th.

Well, the only idea I had for this round was a Starbucks/coffee related topic to "Hungry Like A Wolf".  When he said he had one already, I went looking through other Duran songs, and came up blank.  I thought I was going to have to bow out for this artist.

I might be changing my mind again... I looked over "The Kleenex" and scrapped it.... I ought to not post what I have in mind on here.
Because I had another idea for "Hungry Like The Wolf" about Little Red Riding Hood called, "Granny's now a Wolf" (I'll try working on that one)

Most people have learned to ignore what I post, because my mind changes way too many times for me to actually stick with something.

Like I said... I have so many ideas I constantly post new ones here. "Circus Clown" to "Falling Down" is now done, completed, and finally the one that I am going to go with.

and this is precisely why I don't try to publicly speculate my ideas as who knows what one will work out, remember how many times I've made you wonder how a different idea would sound ;)

Now that I have more time:

Yes, I'm BACK, ladies and gentleman! A little older, a little wiser, and a LOT more broke. Got fired, got a new job, bought a condo, etc. But I'm sliding back into action! Woohoo!

Now, you must excuse me. My air conditioner is taking a piss on my linoleum...

Long story
