Ages of Amiright: Part 2
Round: 5


Well, Folks we've hit the half-way mark, and although we've lost a few of you along the way the few of us have stuck together and we've made it this far. Only 5 more rounds to go folks. Our topic for round number five is "Crime And/Or Punishment". Side-Note: Crime doesn't necessarily need punishment to be along with it, and Punishment doesn't need crime. For example you can do a parody about speeding and not getting caught, or you can do a parody about getting pulled over by the cops for speeding without going into too much detail about the misdemeanor. Understand?

We're back into dealing with popular music of today (or a few years ago, but today-ish comparably). The years we're going to have to parody for this round are those magical years of "2000 - 2005". Once again if you don't know any songs from this decade (Which would be odd because it was just 3 years ago) check them out here www.top40db.net, or make sure to check Wikipedia before you enter it.

Here are the few rules that this contest has...

1. Make sure that your song has something to do with the topic (That's why it's there for)
2. Make sure your song is from that half decade (If you don't know ask)
3. Make sure that you get it done in the time limit given (Which is two weeks from today)
4. Make sure to post it here when it's uploaded on Amiright
5. Have fun with it

I do believe I shall parody "How You Remind Me" by Nickelback, into something about speeding. It was gonna be 'I Want It That Way' but that was released in 1999. Which was annoying, as I'd had a chorus worked out already.

This assignment is killing me Matty.  KILLING ME.  Clearly the early 2000s are not my strong set of years.

I have one that's already written, that I think will work...but I've always tried to write something new for these contests.  I'm totally depressed.  :(
