Subject: Hip-Hop Specialist Round 2 (T.I.) (Enter by 1-31-11)

Welcome to round 2, the T.I. round. Same rules apply.
General Rules:
1. Entry must be submitted by replying to the entry thread by the set deadline or it is ineligible for the contest.
2. All entrants must read and comment on every entry. If not done then the entrant is disqualified.
3. All entrants must vote by replying to a seperate voting thread to the contest. This must be done before the voting deadline or the entrant will be disqualified.
4. Votes will be cast using a point system. You pick your favorite 5 parodies and place them 1-5. 1st (5pts), 2nd (4pts), 3rd (3pts), 4th (2pts), 5th (1pt).
5. You may not vote for your own parody.
6. At the end of the voting period, the points will be tallied, and the parody with the most points wins.
7. If there is a points tie, the parody that got the most first place votes will be the winner. And so on and so forth in the case of multiple ties
8. If you are disqualified from a round for any reason you maynot participate in the following round.

Maybe Blaydeman is a bit confused seeing as you edited your post announcing your idea to enter the parody as opposed to making a new post. I sure as hell would've been confused if I didn't know that people tend to do that.

I actually wrote a parody of "Whatever You Like" called "Sweater U Like" http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/ti15.shtml
I was originally going to submit that one to this round, but it didn't receive good ratings, maybe you can check it out and tell me why if you have time. Anyway, I decided to go in a different direction and wrote another one, which I actually do think is better so I guess I lucked out ;)

Hey Dave, I was just wondering how do you submit a recording?
Slightly down the amiright.com page there is a section called "Comedy Song Performances" there is a "submit a comedy song performance" link that takes you to the form. It is important to note that amiright does not host mp3 files though, for that I recommend Soundclick, The61, Garageband, The Fump, or a personal site. I do updates for that section Monday-Friday, so its posting is similar to that of the main updates Chucky does such as written parodies.
I'd be happy to review your Whatever You Like parody to put my stamp on it:) I have some running to do this morning though, so it won't be til after all that and school work etc, but yeah I can give my opinion!

I think there was someone going around voting one on everyone's parodies that day.

Yeah you never can rely on those votes, good or bad--the votes rarely reflect the work as much as commentary does
