Subject: Hip-Hop Specialist Round 8 (Run-D.M.C.) Entry Thread (6-15-11)

Now we gotta cover a group that changed the game of rap... Run-D.M.C.!
Deadline: June 6th, 2011
General Rules:
1. Entry must be submitted by replying to the entry thread by the set deadline or it is ineligible for the contest.
2. All entrants must read and comment on every entry. If not done then the entrant is disqualified.
3. All entrants must vote by replying to a seperate voting thread to the contest. This must be done before the voting deadline or the entrant will be disqualified.
4. Votes will be cast using a point system. You pick your favorite 5 parodies and place them 1-5. 1st (5pts), 2nd (4pts), 3rd (3pts), 4th (2pts), 5th (1pt).
5. You may not vote for your own parody.
6. At the end of the voting period, the points will be tallied, and the parody with the most points wins.
7. If there is a points tie, the parody that got the most first place votes will be the winner. And so on and so forth in the case of multiple ties
8. If you are disqualified from a round for any reason you maynot participate in the following round.

I'm probably going to do a parody of Aerosmith and Run DMC's "Walk This Way" just because I love Aerosmith and most of my parodies done by him turn out great.

Wow, I didn't know Aerosmith was a single guy! All this time, I thought he was a band or somethin', how silly of me!
That said, the only Run DMC song I know is Walk This Way, but you've kinda shotgunned that, so I'll have to look through their output and pick something.

Aerosmith is a band, it was a collaboration between both bands. LOL!

Sarcastic much, T-Cop... Of course I meant "them"... When I think about Aerosmith I think about Steven Tyler his band falls by the wayside.

Ok, I guess TCOP and I tie for f1st in this round. And each of us get 5 points to the overall HHS champ standings because that's the way the voting would've been in a 2 person contest. Congrats TCOP!
