Well.  .  .this round will be interesting

Note that Marilyn is known for making goth/rock versions of pop hits.  These are fine for this round, in fact they may be some of his best representative works (Tainted Love and Sweet Dreams are among his signature tracks), but an entry labelled Tainted Love by Soft Cell or Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics etc does NOT qualify for this round, they must be properly attributed to count as a parody will sound much different against Tainted Love by Soft Cell versus Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson, the same is true of any cover he's done, they are transformed to have a darker meaning than in their originals. . .he tends to put the lyrics on the spot, thus proper attribution is necessary to fairly judge a parody of a "Marilyn Manson" song.

**Note Marilyn Manson has a very deep song list, and many other transformative covers such as Like A Virgin, You Spin Me Right Round, and I Put a Spell on You.  I know some people may be uncomfortable with this round which is why I point out the covers. . .

Oh man! This round is going to be great! I love Marylin Manson! His covers are fantastic! His original songs are pretty awesome too! I don't know what song I'm going to do but it's probably going to be either "Dope Show" (because it's part of my Weird Al Polka Project) or "This Is Halloween" because it's a fun cover of a song from a Disney movie!

I also wanna parody Dope Show (possibly about frogs...dunno why, maybe a spin on the Frog Prince story...yeah, that could work), though if Matthias has his heart set on it I could parody his version of Tainted Love.

I was looking at the new album and I kinda want to turn his song "Born Villain" into "Bond Villain" and turn it into an over the top villain kind of guy with giant lasers and a pool filled with sharks and the whole shebang...

I can't believe I've never actually submitted any parodies of Marilyn Manson--I've written parts of 8. . .but apparently they are among the mass collection of parodies I've never submitted.  Maybe I'll shine one or two of em up and put them on the site if I get any free time.

The Pope Show has been done by two people, but mine is quite a bit different from the two on this site.  I won't submit my parody of This is the New S**t because this site has a hang up on poo parodies.  Evil Doves was fun, and its been awhile since I added any animals to my farm of evil pets.  Insufferable Tweens was a really fun one, I might shore that one up.  Then there's Spinable Tea Cups about the ride, Green Cream, Horrible A**holes, and of course This is Howl-O-Scream about Busch Gardens  . . .
