  ok, it's just my hand, but this isn't about me, it's a close up of my lucky duck named "Chuck the Duck"  he's my lucky charm when I play poker with my friends. he's a little ceramic duck I got free in a box of Red Rose tea bags. all my poker pals know Chuck. one time I went to the kitchen for a drink and when I returned he was missing. he'd been kidnapped and these people thought it was funny.  >:(  lucky for them I found Chuck the Duck. by the way, I've got an Ace & a Queen, very good cards  8)

yeah, it's fun if you get a new one that you don't already have. one complaint I have is that RR tea is more expensive but it's good tea. we usually drink Lipton here too

I know sometimes it could just be lousy timing or a coincidence (like if you do it just before the page ends, or if people happen to otherwise miss it), but it still kinda sucks. It's like "man I worked hard on these and I was really excited!" ;) Plus, it's like you're making a part of yourself vulnerable and letting the world see you, so to have that ignored makes it feel like you just embarrased yourself, or given the impression that it's not as valued.

Those are good pics Jesse.  I know how hard it is taking photos of yourself, I'm always trying to get a decent "natural" photo of myself and it's alot harder then it looks.  You did a good job.  I too like the pensive, darker one too.

^ Hehe thanks :) Yeah, I know what you mean though. You've gotta hold the camera with one hand and also make sure you get yourself in the frame and all. That's one thing I don't miss about Polaroids and film cameras (as old-school as I am) 'cause it usually takes a bunch of times.
