Thanks Mike... as a tv addict who lives 90 miles from LA...one of the first things I did was join the museum of TV and radio! I get to go to all these great events and meet the celebs.... some are more friendly than others. I have more pics I need to post soon. I just got back from meeting the cast of ER. I got Parminder Nagra to sign a soccer ball for me cuz bend it like beckham is one of my favorite films!

So where in that area do you live. Which city? Do you remember a show called "Your Big Break"? I took Wayne for an audition for it down in Hollywood back in 2000. September 1st to be exact.




I was wondering if you recognize anything from this photo. Wayne and I in Hollywood.

I live in Santa Barbara.... That looks like it could be outside the Pantages theater. I was there once for the TV Land awards.  We got to sit in the bleachers and watch the celebs go by! Then they decided to let sit in the balconly and watch the actual awards ceremony! I had so much fun. I have great pics of Eartha Kitt walking the red carpet, MTM, Lisa Welchel (Blair from Facts of Life), one of my favorite days.  I may post them somewhere where anyone who's interested can see them I just need about a week to sort through and scan them cuz of course they accidentally got erased from my computer.

I vaguely remember the show Your Big Break but never watched it  :-[  should I even ask how it went?
I just listened to the sound clips for SalsaBella...Wayne can really sing!  I go to LA a lot  too much if you ask my parents... I am going to be 40 and my mother still tries to dictate my actions...and she's all the way in Arizona  ;D

Not sure if it is the Pantages, I know it was by the walk of fame. There was a subway station right behind us. I remember the building was undergoing a lot of construction while we were there.
I found out that day I could make it from our house to Downtown Hollywood in about 6 hours. The mapquest map I had said it would be closer to 8 1/2. That was a fun day.
I was pregnant with our daughter in that pic. (could you tell? don't think so, I never showed)

no I couldn't tell you were pregnant there. Yeah the walk of fame spans several blocks in Hollywood so its hard to tell from that!

I belong to an organization formally known as the Museum of Television & Radio... its now called the Paley Center for Media Studies... but when I give that name I have to explain that Wm.  S. Paley founder of CBS was dedicated to preserving the medium of TV & Radio so he started the museum to house all the shows they could save. 

They have screening rooms so its a great place to go and see stuff you haven't seen in years.

There's one in LA and in New York.  Throughout the year they honor different shows and artists and put on events for the members.  Every Feb/March  they have a Festival in LA. Its 2 weeks long and each night (excluding Sundays) they honor a different show... could be a current show or something from the past.

in 07 I went to shows for Heroes, Simpsons, The Closer, Jericho & American Idol. I also went to  Designing Women and Cagney & Lacey events but not as part of the Paley Festival....  I can't wait until Jan. Its the festival's 25th anniv.  and that's when they announce the honorees.

He just got busted for pulling down some girls shirt, and being drunk. Why can't these stars party quietly? Although I bet it would be a blast to party with him. Well would have in my party years. ;)

I don't know there are fun drunks and obnoxious drunks....he's an obnoxious drunk. I don't think it'd be fun to party with him at all.... btw substitute drunk with what the party appropriate term is for junkie.

Jeeze I hate obnoxious drunks, he is a junkie too? I thought I had heard that some where.
I was always a fun drunk back when I was in my early 20s not a problem drinker or druggie either. Just that typical thing that most kids go through. Cocaine was a big thing then but I never liked it. Yuck putting something up my nose. Nope
