yes, he left Vaughn and I last week. And recently I found a list of women that he has been talking to, their phone numbers, etc. And ya...the wilderbeast above was one of them.

Erin ... gotta confess ... that woman ... looks wise, does nothing for me.

The saying, "The best revenge is a life well lived" fits here. That is the perfect thing to do for you and Vaughn. You've already said he'll be sorry when he sees how you've changed. Make sure that stays true. Better yourself, physically and mentally, so that he'll look on in wonder while you strut by in total confidence. Make him realize through your better life that if he had just TALKED to you, treated you right, or even if he had sought help for his sex addiction, that maybe things could have been different. He gave up a wonderful little family to go out and have his pleasure, and he is the one who will lose in the end.

We all love you Erin, and I know that all of us wish we could take this pain away from you.

Yeah, I know feelings can't be turned on and off like a light switch. I'm sure a part of you is still just recovering from the initial shock, and will be for a long time. After all, this is the guy you up until a week ago, probably figured you'd be spending the rest of your life with, so when something like this happens, it totally overwhelms you with emotions to where you just don't know how to take it. I totally understand. It's almost like a relative dying - in a sense, the "good Chris" did die.

Since he obviously didn't mean the things he said (or if he did, just not strongly enough to override his sex/porn addiction or whatever that made a stable relationship/marriage impossible), it wasn't genuinely good times you had, though. Not if he wasn't serious about loving and being with you.

P.S. There's only been a few things that shocked or creeped Jerry out that I've seen (at least post late '90s), and I'm sure that chick would be one of them. If I were him, I would be. ;D

From reading all that .. it's not entirely clear that this IS the girl. That he has 'possibly' got naked with (?) ... 'potentially leaving me for' ...

Could it be that he hasn't had sex with HER ... but one of the other girls? That it is one of the OTHER girls he is departing for?

I'm not sure also, if you, Erin, are holding out hopes of a reconciliation somewhere down the track?

As for a 'lynch mob' ... leave me out of that one.  Sure, I don't like what he's done either .... but he's hardly Osama bin Laden.  He's cheated on his marriage vows, and thus proven himself untrustworthy. However, he must have SOME redeeming qualities, else Erin ... you probably wouldn't have fallen for him in the first place. This is what makes the whole thing so painful.  You've seen his good side/qualities ... now he's betrayed you and your trust ... but you can't entirely forget all the good times. 

I went through a 'relationship' with a borderline personality disorder 'bitch from hell' (to put it mildly) ... that ended February 2002. Specifically, Feb 3rd ... the day in history 'the music died'  (Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Big Bopper's plane crashed .. in '59).  I put my heart, soul,  the best I've ever given ANYONE  on this planet into trying to 'heal' this mad manipulating bitch. When she wasn't making me feel sorry for her with torrents of tears, and calling me 'Sir Alan' ...  sweet, clever and wonderful, 'more than she'd ever had' a 'SNAG' (sensitive new age guy) ..  she was at other times flying into inexplicable rages, punching and kicking me with venom, calling me a 'piece of sheesh' ... 'wanker' ... 'sick bastard' and so on. She nearly succeeded in getting me thrown out of my lodgings several times. The last time she was ever here, it was after throwing me out in the middle of the night, chasing me down the street for about a mile, then kicking repeatedly on the door to my building, shouting every 4 letter word in the book about me ... 'cause she wanted her pillow back that was at my place! The cops were called. The landlord told me the next day .... take out an apprehended violence order against her .... or 'clear off'! He'd had more than his fill of her ... and was in a rage that his 2 teenage daughters were exposed to her foul mouth.

In spite of my obviously being better off without her .... this whole thing led me into a huge depression ... and I am currently on anti-depressants (Citalopram / aka celapram pills).

No, I don't know for sure that THIS is the exact girl that he is cheating on my with.....but, when a married man has a list of female's names along with their phone numbers in his private email (that I got into)...and then I find out that he ALSO joined a sleazy personals website that is geared for ONLY finding whores in the area to have sex with....I think my conclusions were pretty fair..and accuarate.

Here's the thing...when I first met Chris, I was getting out of a horrible relationship, where I was mentally/emotionally abused a lot. Chris promised me that he would be there for me..that he would "never do anything like that to me...ever", etc.. After we ended up getting married (over a year and a half later)....I started noticing signs (different websites he was visiting...porn/personal ads/conversations on messengers, etc), and finding things around the house (porn mags, him running up bills for the TV/cell phones...all porn stuff, DVDs, etc). He lied to me about nearly everything in our relationship. Then....last weekend, when my mom, Vaughn, and I went 3 hours away to visit my sister....he felt like this was the perfect opportunity to do whatever the hell he wanted. Things would still be "normal" to this day, had I not caught him in lies and found out about his little romps. That is the only reason that he has left me and is staying away and refuses to face me...because I CAUGHT HIM. He knows that I know about stuff...yet he continues to lie and say things like, he is having alcohol problems, etc....the man doesn't even drink. His problems aren't about alcohol..they are about being addicted to sex. Believe me, and I'm not trying to be too personal and stuff...but he should have NO reason at all to have to go to another women for anything sexual...he was never denied stuff like that.

He has major problems..and now I feel really dirty. I am seriously going to go and get an STD test...I mean, who knows who the hell he has been with...and what he might have brought home..and all this time, I thought that I was with an honest, loving man. HA.

As for a 'lynch mob' ... leave me out of that one.   Sure, I don't like what he's done either .... but he's hardly Osama bin Laden.  He's cheated on his marriage vows, and thus proven himself untrustworthy. However, he must have SOME redeeming qualities, else Erin ... you probably wouldn't have fallen for him in the first place. This is what makes the whole thing so painful.  You've seen his good side/qualities ... now he's betrayed you and your trust ... but you can't entirely forget all the good times. 

I went through a 'relationship' with a borderline personality disorder 'bitch from hell' (to put it mildly) ... that ended February 2002. Specifically, Feb 3rd ... the day in history 'the music died'  (Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Big Bopper's plane crashed .. in '59).  I put my heart, soul,  the best I've ever given ANYONE  on this planet into trying to 'heal' this mad manipulating bitch. When she wasn't making me feel sorry for her with torrents of tears, and calling me 'Sir Alan' ...  sweet, clever and wonderful, 'more than she'd ever had' a 'SNAG' (sensitive new age guy) ..  she was at other times flying into inexplicable rages, punching and kicking me with venom, calling me a 'piece of sheesh' ... 'wanker' ... 'sick bastard' and so on. She nearly succeeded in getting me thrown out of my lodgings several times. The last time she was ever here, it was after throwing me out in the middle of the night, chasing me down the street for about a mile, then kicking repeatedly on the door to my building, shouting every 4 letter word in the book about me ... 'cause she wanted her pillow back that was at my place! The cops were called. The landlord told me the next day .... take out an apprehended violence order against her .... or 'clear off'! He'd had more than his fill of her ... and was in a rage that his 2 teenage daughters were exposed to her foul mouth.

In spite of my obviously being better off without her .... this whole thing led me into a huge depression ... and I am currently on anti-depressants (Citalopram / aka celapram pills).

I've never been married / no kids. For the latter, I've never had the desire. Perhaps it's because of my own experiences .. but I've always had a cynical view of marriage.  Monogamy the way I see it ... is not natural. Men are wired by nature to 'sow their seed' far and wide. Men never stop looking at other women, no matter HOW great/satisfactory/beautiful, etc; etc; their current girlfriend/wife etc; is.

From an evolutionary standpoint .... marriage is about having two parents so that the child has 2 chances of being fed/raised/ surviving etc .... should something unfortunate happen to one parent. That is .. monogamous relationships aren't natural .. they are a sacrifice /decision taken voluntarily in certain societies. There are various societies around the world where a man can have many wives / and probably ... vice versa.

So ... it looks like you were vulnerable at the time you met Chris .. you made a bad decision as it turns out ... getting involved with him ... because he didn't really want to play by western societies marriage rules.

Going back to my cynical view .. so to me .. sex (with a woman) is 'nature's way of trying to trick you into have kids' ... well, at least prior to contraceptive devices.

It seems to me that it is largely women who want the kids ... probably because their biological clock makes it difficult around the age of 40 or so ... whereas men can sire into old age. Also, I guess women have that nurturing nature etc;  Of course, I'm not saying there's not a lot of men out there who want to be fathers  .. but I don't believe they feel the need as much as a woman does.  Historically, men would have wanted kids ... like royalty ... to have someone succeed them. Also, others feel they can somehow become immortal ... somehow a part of them passes to future generations ... although those future generations die too! Some people have kids for companionship ... or to look after them in their old age ... or to do chores etc; etc; ... There's a LOT of bastards in this world .... because they've been born to parents who didn't want kids for the right reasons, neglected them etc; and they turned out bad.

Anyhow, my father cheated on my mother .. and she was intending to divorce him .... he tried to kill us all .. got arrested .... out on bail .... took an overdose of sleeping pills about a month later.

So, my own view of marriage is 'marriage is an institution' .... and people that do it ... 'belong in one'. Well ..... I don't entirely believe that ... as I'm sure there are tons of happily married couples out there ... but I do subscribe to the view that it is an artificial union that people subscribe to voluntarily. I doubt I'll ever get married now .... but you never know ...

hahahaah...you know guys....chris is going to be so so sorry someday. That's all I have to say. I've been really working on my appearance (losing weight, etc)....and someday, I will walk by him swinging my hips and he will be wishing that he wouldn't have chosen the girl that looks like Mr. Potato Head. ;D :D

And it's not very likely she'll ever stumble across this board, read this thread and think: "Let me get this straight..."

Another thing...I found her myspace page, and not to sound rude...but by the things she says and the pictures that she posts, and the comments that other men have left her...she sounds like nothing but a gutless whore.  Her message on her myspace page was, "being devious".....yep...she's a damn homewrecker, and even if this is NOT the girl that he is screwing....she is at least somewhat of a part of the whole puzzle of this pathetic romp.

I can't believe it.  Chris is absolutely insane!  He has one of the greatest, sweetest, most beautiful women in the world, and this is what he does?  I can't even begin to understand.  I have to say that I feel sorrier for him than I do you - you are a fabulous person and I know you will have a happy life, and find someone a million times better than he is, but he will never be able to find anyone thats half as good as you.  There is no punishment in the world that will be worse for him than what he has just done to himself.

she has some type of infection... not sure if there is something in her eyes... the vet wants her to get drops 5x a day for a couple of days then he'll see if he has to do something more invasive.

She doesn't go anywhere so I'm thinking maybe dirt or ash got in her eyes but its hard to tell... All I know is she could see on Saturday but by Monday AM she was virtually blind.  Has walked into several walls, tripped over curbs, fell out of the car  :\'( cuz she could see to get out....

its all quite worrysome. We follow up with the vet in the AM
