Wow, I'm pretty sure I've seen the baby and the 6-year old one, as well as you at 19, but not the inbetween ones. I can easily tell them all as being you, though. Seems like you were having fun at the Halloween one masquerading as a baby! I think once you become too old to trick or treat, people put even more emphasis on dressing up, watching scary movies or just doing other things like that to make up for it (the candy is still good though, lol).

I don't think you've aged one second between 1996 and 2007. It's a little different perhaps (i.e. the glasses look, kinda shorter hair), but you're so cute like always. I'm sure when you're 50 you'll only look like a thirtysomething.

-This is me around 1984 or maybe early '85 on the steps of the very first house I remember living in. It was I think, one morning before I went off to preschool (I'm about 3 here):

-This is two from 1986 in Florida, when my parents and I got this Corvette and drove it all the way home, across the southern states. The first one is me with my mom in front of it, then with my dad (check out all the '80s, even late '70s cars in the parking lot! And the Ice Cream parlor signs, it's really old school looking in a good way). 8)

This was 1989, so I was actually kinda ahead of my time, looking Nineties without even knowing it!

You're sweet, I'm so glad you liked them. :) I'll be honest, one reason it took me so long to put anything up is because I was kinda worried that my early/kid ones (1993 and before) might be compared with my present day/fairly recent look (1998+) and people would prefer those over how I look now.

See, people always used to make comments about how cute I was up until about 11 or 12, but not in a "boyfriendish/good looking guy" way, in a "little boy" way. There were times I took it as a compliment. Like if it was some girl or younger woman that I thought was cute, lol. But I equally sometimes got annoyed with it, for that very same reason. I remembered thinking I couldn't wait to be older, just so it could happen in a different context. Once I got into Junior High it kinda did, and even though I never knew how to respond to it half the time, I was like "whoa this is cool. Not like it was 5, even 3 years ago".

Not to say it hasn't happened since late high school and up, it has, but not quite as widespread as it did back then. Because of that, there've been times that I worried I wasn't as cute as I used to be - and I just really hope I am, lol.

With my favourite budgie ever ... 'Chirpy'. He lasted maybe 12 years (?). He finally had a stroke ... was paralyzed ... and I sadly had to take him to a vet and have him 'put to sleep'.

^ competing in the 'City to Surf' ... 1984. I was the first finisher in my company (not the event) ... and collected a trophy for the effort. That effort left me doing dry retches when I finally stopped .... as I'd given it everything I had ... and the kitchen sink.

^ More of that same pic. 55 minutes and 45 seconds was my time, for a 9 mile run (approx.) over quite hilly / variable terrain through the streets of Sydney. I'd only gotten into regular jogging the year before, at the age of 29. The run is held annualy in August ... and several people over the years have had fatal heart attacks from excessive efforts ....

^ competing in the marathon, 1984. I'm the guy at the rear. I'd never run the distance (26 miles ! )  till the day. I was pacing myself ... not sure how I'd go. It ended inside a stadium, having been through the streets of Sydney up until that point, going over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, past the Opera House. As it turned out, I had a fair bit of gas left in my tank, and ended up sprinting the last 200 yards ... very nearly catching those guys !

With my favourite budgie ever ... 'Chirpy'. He lasted maybe 12 years (?). He finally had a stroke ... was paralyzed ... and I sadly had to take him to a vet and have him 'put to sleep'.

I'd only gotten into regular jogging the year before, at the age of 29. The run is held annualy in August ... and several people over the years have had fatal heart attacks from excessive efforts ....

It ended inside a stadium, having been through the streets of Sydney up until that point, going over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, past the Opera House. As it turned out, I had a fair bit of gas left in my tank, and ended up sprinting the last 200 yards ... very nearly catching those guys !

Thank you . That's a nice thing to say. However .... I'd have to say that whilst it HAS had it's moments ...... I have ultimately ..... failed spectacularly .... and ..... it has certainly not worked out the way a younger version of me might have hoped.  Since I've never had a clear sense of direction / focus, or purpose ...... and am somewhat like a rudderless ship at sea .... I guess it's not entirely surprising !

I may have posted this a couple years ago, but I don't have many pics avail. wait, I have tons of pics, but they need to be scanned & I don't have a scanner.  this is me & my sweet lil' Julie-bulie taken at the Berkeley Rose Gardens about 13 years ago. I can't believe my hair was so big & poofy, somewhat Stamos like and very black, no gray like I have now & wearing my favorite concert tee shirt I got when I saw Boston.  this is probably in 1994-95  isn't she the cutest  :)

I just scanned in like 700 35mm photos so I have tons of pictures on this computer now...sadly many suffered some water damage because we don't take care of things around here.  ::)

wow! That's a lot of pictures! That's a shame that some of them were damaged. We have a lot of family photos that were not kept up with/lost/etc...so I know how that goes.

The good thing is that most of the damage is around the edges so the people in the pictures are usually left in tact, so they are still fully useful thankfully. I thought I better scan em in now before they suffer more damage. Now they must be organized into folders!  ;D

sounds like a good plan! You could even crop the edges off it you wanted to, on some of them.
