Aww Thanks.  Such a nice thing to say.    :)

You take some great shots yourself.  I haven't had much time to get out to take photos in a while.  When I do have time the gas prices have been holding me back.  >:(

Wow! Way cool. Carlos & I have tried to get photos of hummers but can never get them right. This is one we got down in Puerto Rico (not too sure which one of us took this one)-but not as good as yours.

Same here.  Its not unusual to see me snooping around bushes and plants looking for interesting critters.

Here is a little bug that was so tiny that I could only see a dark speck but the camera was able to capture it beautifully.  Gotta love cameras!

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk116/s_nanette/IMG_3180.jpg

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk116/s_nanette/IMG_3182.jpg

Here are a couple of my favorite butterfly pictures.  The first one was easy because it was obviously a newly hatched butterfly and remained on that plant for a good 30 minutes before flying away.  I took full advantage of it.  So did my daughter, she was out there snapping away with her camera also.

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk116/s_nanette/IMG_0293.jpg

This tiny yellow butterfly was pure luck.  I was only able to snap two shots before it flew away.  The first was blurry but this one turned out sharp.

It does take good macro shots.  Just have to stay steady and avoid the wind.  ;)

I may have exaggerated with the speck thing.  I was about 2 or 3 cm.

Great shot of a Dragonfly.  They are not an easy subject.  I have only managed to capture one dragonfly on camera and it was its underside.  Not the prettiest.
