Songs come along with me wherever I go. At work or oudoors. enjoying or toiling I got always a song in my brain.

When I see this kind of pic, Solomon Burke whispers in my ear ..

I went up to the mountains, up over the  cluds where the sky is blue....

Thanks my friends  :)

I started this new thread by pure chance, cause I must have some sort of trouble that the website doesn't show me the new start bottom.
Only when the previuosly programmed time of logging in is over, I'm able to start a new thread. I can't understant why  :-\\

At least I reached to sprout up this one, hereof I'm proud and glad.

I'll keep the pic deal on turning ;)

Is this illusion or reality ?

I'm very lucky having a brother like this..

http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr334/seamermar/Mountains/JoseAnayetreflejo.jpg

the name he bears is Jose,
I can say he goes bonkers
and his smile is placed on his face
to please the feminine human race  ;)

He could hold the whole world on his palm,
we have done great walks under storms or calm
Maybe we're too often short of dollar bills
but we always have a good time up on the hills.
Yes...... I'm very lucky having a brother like this !!

Thanks Jose, let's keeping like this  ;)

Absolutely beautiful!  I used to love cross country skiing when I was working on the golf course... we'd make trails.  But in the past 15 years, nothing...  :P

I never have had the chance seeing such beautiful places though.

It's a beauty reality Howard, just a reflexion on water surface. It was at dawn, the lake didn't have a single wave and the sun raced down the hillside as we were astonished in front that natural act.
Lucky I had my camera at hands and I could take as much to show you up.

If you know and did cross country skiing, then you know how freedom feels like.
You must do your own path and unveal every corner in the hill, but you MUST take good care, cause the way isn't that easy to trace.
Soon the white carpet will cover paths and meadows with only ski-riders to dare to explore valleys and slopes.

Just for your pleasure, maybe I'm gonna bring you a good snow-trip  ;)

It was at the time of America's Cup, Howard.
I was strolling along docks watching boats and folks.
Yes, the sun usually caresses my land and people often enjoy outdoors.
But now it's winter  >:( and my feet are freezed when I stay still on the piers
Lucky we got a good heat on board our tug ship.

I guess Pathmark isn't an easy place in winter, either Brrrrrr!

Have you ever heard about Sevilla ? is located in the South of Spain, I found a gigapixel pic fo the city :

http://www.sevilla111.com/default.htm

People there have some different accent, I guess the same thing occurs in many countries.

The North and the South have market differences.

I wonder how you see your own countries, for instance States, Britain or Australia, is there some evident disparities or differences ?

The US has so many accents-New England (Boston), New York (which mine is the closest to), Southern, Midwest, Okie, Texan, and many, many more. I knew this guy who was so good at detecting accents-he could tell what state someone was from by their accent.

When my work is over I take a ride and get my ass over the clouds where streams flow pure, clear and clean and I live the free life of a rover.
Every now and then I need to breathe the mountains' air, and feel myself shuffling feet  against grass. That's the way I get my best.

Nope Howard, it isn't sweet but salty. Meat, fish, veggies, almost everything eatable you feel them succulent at the table.
Beer or wine http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/02/beerchug.gif to toast and swallow.

Do you think the name says all of your town then  ?. ( Modest or humble in Spanish ).

Since George Lucas was teenager city must've changed a lot I suppose.  May you like to talk about your city in a thread, wildcard ?
Perhaps it's not that boring you think Modesto is, if you pay more attention here and there.
I guess the dessert is not far for the motto in the arch. Now I understand your saying about growing green, water is a need.

Nope Howard, it isn't sweet but salty. Meat, fish, veggies, almost everything eatable you feel them succulent at the table.
Beer or wine http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/02/beerchug.gif to toast and swallow.

sounds delicious.

Iglesia San Juan del Hospital a worship's place among a million more all along Spain.

http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr334/seamermar/IglesiaSanJuandelHospital.jpg

It is said we have more churches and bars than the rest of the world just within our little land.
It was an age when men in bars and women to church in idle time it comes
Nowadays churches are empty most of time and bars, well bars have a more faithful congregation :D

Fall is near to end up, so the last tribute to a romantic season in a romantic town, where forge was the most in older times

Now that the world is in a  girdled of rush, I like to think about the good old times where everything needed to be calm.
Strolling around little streets of cobblestone was the perfect cure of modern illness we suffer now from.

My wife and I as newborn lovers trying to find what we lost along the way.  ;)

Maybe it was still waiting on that big brass bed  :)

I hope you enjoy the walk

Bilbao is Norther Spain. There exists a pile of flowers made into a huge dog. Guggenheim's gardian-

My grandfather migrated to Puerto Rico from Valladolid some time before 1898, when the island was taken over by the US.  in 1900 the Foraker Act made Puerto Ricans citizens, and the Jones Act of 1917 established the Island's government.  My parents met there during WWII  while my dad was stationed there

And it's still going on Ash, they don't finish this construction since started a hundred years ago, I think is probably the unique case of a cathedral growing at these days.

For plenty of days I felt I needed something else, something magic and unexplained which has been floating on the web.
Such strange spell that wispers into our heads, it's the voice of the soul in someone else mouth, what we think, say and do here and now, ,moves like vibes and affects some far away friends, who do their best.

So I need to share with them my little corner as much as my eye can stand up tp the trade.

What a heck !! Patty, you seem to be everywhere !! I wonder how have you noticed about this flooding fiasco around my little corner ? Lately we have got the worst weather ever.

That's just six miles from home. Month ago my wife worked at the post office just before this usually dry river. She parked her car just in the waterless bed. Lucky these days, she works in our hometown

I "travel" all over the world by internet.  It's much easier to travel that way rather then try to get this body to move everywhere I want to go.  ;D  Whenever I see something in Spain, I usually take note because I have a friend in Valencia.  :-*
