You are tearing things up here, Karen_M ;) Can you tell me the release date of "Lotta Love" because on the 45rpm it says 1978, but it may have been released late in the year and carried over.  I definately remember hearing it played a lot in February '79.

I don't have the single, RnRF, so I wouldn't be able to give you a precise date that the song was released.  You might try asking 80smusicfreak since he seems to be an authority on this kind of stuff.  ;)  The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits shows their issue date for "Lotta Love" being December 23, 1978.  Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 lists it as the #34 song for 1979.  It almost looks like this song could fit in either year.  :-/
