#2. The Red Flag-Billy Bragg
Note to self: Googling doesn't work on all lyrics; that's why I couldn't get #1.

3 is indeed Kim Wilde, but it's Chequered Love
4 is a correction, where it says "and", it should say "but". It's called "She Wears Red Feathers" and is by Guy Mitchell. That'll do for now.

No, just consulted a pile of Kim albums that I've got available. I'm getting out of the habit of Googling.

EDIT - That is, for anything. There's enough chart books that I've found lying around that I can consult for chart info, etc. Even words for songs I've found in various formats, on CD's, tapes, and whatever.

I had to sing all the way through to the chorus, too ;-)

Though I suppose singing:
A different light every night guaranteed to blow your mind
See you out on the streets call me for a wild time
So you sit home alone 'cause there's nothing there for you to do
There's only pictures hung in the shadows left there to look at you
You know she likes the light at nights on the neon Broadway signs,
She donít really mind, itís only love she hoped to find

Ooh, you're half way there
Livin' on a prayer

Yrs confused

Phil since when have you been able to read minds??
I know, mine is a scary place to inhabit....Why do you think I descibe myself as confused !!

Actually if I had bothered to sing through the whole song like that I would have realised my foolish mistake!!
