Subject: Song Title Passage

Written By: CeramicsFanatic on 07/02/02 at 05:02 p.m.

Hi folks!

Below is a fabricated "love letter", so to speak, that's made up of song titles (with a few words that I have inserted to make it flow more smoothly).  All of the songs are from the same year.

Can you tell me:

1. The year?
2. How many song titles are in the passage?

********************************************

Hey Deanie!

You know that I miss you and that I can't smile without you.  I go crazy reminiscing about the times when you use ta be my girl and we'd boogie oogie oogie out at the copacobana on Thunder Island.  Ah, those summer nights when you needed me!  I thought we had an everlasting love.  We were like magnet and steel back then but now we're just dust in the wind.

Baby come back to me and we'll go slip slidin' away like Jack and Jill at a water park!  I know that our love will find a way if you will just take a chance on me again and let me show you how much I feel.  Come sail away with me, baby, and we'll live the sweet life, always and forever.  Please don't say goodbye girl.  If you do I'll be bluer than blue!

Yours Truly,
Hot Blooded Hal

I would say the year was 1977, and I picked out 18 song titles!

Peace,Cat Lover

Incorrect on both, J.C.  But you are much closer with the song count than Cat Lover was!  :o

I'm on luch and my brain hurts, so I haven't got the time to even attempt to count the song titles, but I reckon the year was 1978

Hi Fuss!

Yes, 1978 would be the correct year!  Hope you get the time later to count the song titles within the passage.  ;)

I was just counting the titles I'm familiar with. I know there are titles I've never heard of or haven't heard since that year. :-/

I have a little confession to make, guys.  I didn't proofread this after I typed it and I have now realized that I left a little part out of it!  I'm so sorry!!!  :-is correct in his song count.  Again, I apologize for my screwup!  I'll try not to let it happen again.
