It was the whole sountrack, not just a song. and the movie is a "witty comedy".

That really was a tough one, Screwball! Your hints really threw me off because the song I know Karla best for is "Personally", which went to #19 in 1982! I don't even know what the song is that you say she's most famous for...

Well the song I hear the most is "Somebody Eyes" from footloose. I never said she didn't have a top 40 hit, although I said her band never did. Andrew Gold was also in her band, and he performed the theme for Golden Girls.
