Subject: Another Crazy Quiz

Written By: iam4iu42 on 08/14/02 at 11:57 p.m.

In this quiz, famous lyrics to a song are presented in a synonomous fashion, so that the lyric means the same thing. Your job is to decipher what the original lyric is, the name of the song it is in, and the artist.  (EX "Me and some friends had nothing to do with the ignition of the blaze"... IS ... "We didn't start the fire"....) Get it?? Oh, well, I hope ya do, at least.  Names of the people who got the question correct appear before the number of the question.

1. "Me and Lisa have been dating now for what seems like a little over 12 months."

INDY GENT   2. "It feels like summer's around the corner, and, damn, I'm sick of this city once more."

3. "The evening hours are stretched out and the afternoon hours are miserable."

BOBO   4. "Oh, my cardiac cycle is rumbling like a tympani."

5. "The company that produces my music says that they will pay me very well."

PHILBO    6. "I met an unusual woman, she caused me to be jumpy."

INDY GENT   7. "Hello, United States of America, you doing ok?"

TAOIST    8. "Are you in a hurry, or can you listen to my complaints?"

FUSSBUDGET   9. "When are you arriving, father? I'm not sure, son."

ANDREW    10. "I scaled the peak, and I reversed my direction."

Don't know about you, but I always find Cat's in the Cradle really depressing... maybe it has that ring of truth in it
