Subject: Composer Quiz: COMPLETE!! (sort of)

Written By: PF4Eva on 11/02/02 at 12:18 a.m.

This quiz will be my most innovative. Since not all singers write their own songs (although some do), I have put together a quiz in which you will name ALL of the songwriters/composers to recieve full credit and name the song (for bonus points, you can name the artists):

1) I won't return to thee Britney Spears, Max Martin, Rami "Cinderella" sung amazingly by the legendary Britney Jean Spears! Thought NOBODY'D get that one!
2) I've been alive forever and I wrote the very first song Bruce Johnston "I Write the Songs" sung by Barry Manilow
3) I'd run right into hell and back Jim Steinman "I Would Do Anything For Love" sung by Meatloaf
4) Oh baby baby, how was I supposed to know Max Martin "Baby One More Time" sung by Britney Spears
6) Till now, I always got by on my ownHeart "Alone"
7) Oh no I said too much Michael Stipe, Michael E. Mills, Peter Buck, William Berry "Losing My Religion" sung by R.E.M.
8| The judge in the court's got blood stains on his hands Bobby Russell "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" sung by Vicki Lawrence, covered by Reba McIntire
9) Secret, Secret, I've got a secret Dennis DeYoung "Mr. Roboto" sung by Styx
10) I don't want to close my eyes I don't want to go to sleep Diane Warren "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" sung by Aerosmith

Good luck :)

This is "Alone" by Heart (Ann & Nancy Wilson)
I think the correct lyrics are actually

"Till now, I always got by on my own"

As of today, there was never a #5 on this quiz.

Past omissions of things we all forgot about:
Chuck Cunningham
Darrin #1
Roseanne's first Becky
The first Marilyn
The "Whopee" question on the Newlywed Game
Damn Yankees' second album
Styx's "Man of Miracles" and "The Serpent Is Rising" albums
The oldest daughter on the Cosby Show
The youngest daughter on Family Matters
Louie Anderson (I liked that guy)

IMO, "Mickey" is a classic 80s song. I dare not put that on a list of forgetable stuff.  :o
