1. They were going to be called Blink, because one of their members, I believe his name is Tom Delonge, though I'm not much a fan, so I wouldn't know, liked succinct verbs. They then found out there was an Irish band named Blink, so they added the 182 (this number has no significance. It has been cited as the number of times Al Capone said deleted expletive in Scarface, but this is not the reason).
2. Original 3 members: Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus, Scott "Mad Dog" Raynor
As for the current three, I can't remember.
