Subject: 1970 "A to Z" Lyrics Quiz (COMPLETE!)

Written By: CeramicsFanatic on 12/23/02 at 11:36 p.m.

Greetings everyone!  This is the first in a series of lyrics quizzes that I will be doing.  I have chosen a year and tried to find a song that begins with every letter of the alphabet.  Obviously, some letters had to be left out.  This time I have not used the letters K, X, Y and Z.  There are 22 lyrics here.  Name the song and artist.  Now open to anyone who knows the answers!

My apologies, as I found that one of the lines was slightly off.  It is the last remaining lyric.  Hope somebody gets it now!  :)

1. "Maybe we can see things the same"
Zella (All Right Now/Free)

2. "I'm on your side when times get rough"
FBVP (Bridge Over Troubled Water/Simon & Garfunkel)

10. "Tossin' and turnin' and freezin' and burnin'"
FBVP (Julie, Do Ya Love Me/Bobby Sherman)

Hi, Indy Gent.  You are about three-quarters correct.  #14 is right.  On #15 you have the right title, but Tom Jones was not the artist I had in mind.  His version came out the following year (1971).  Keep trying!  :D
