Subject: There's Only So Many Good Ideas - Part II

Written By: JustPassingThrough on 01/30/03 at 05:16 p.m.

This is not so much a quiz, but there wasn't really anywhere else to put it:

I'm looking for examples where one group or artist have released two entirely different songs with identical or very similar names.

One example would be The Beatles with Revolution 1 and Revolution 9 (although the latter isn't strictly a "song").

Another would be Fleetwood Mac, who have released two songs called Angel - a Bob Welch song on Heroes Are Hard To Find, and a Stevie Nicks one on Tusk.

Another would be The Who, who had a Pete Townshend song on Quadrophenia called Had Enough, and a John Entwistle song called I've Had Enough on Who Are You?

Any others

Motorhead had 2 different songs titled "Under The Knife". They also released them together on a greatest hits album - one at the end of side 1 and the other at the end of side 2.

Celine Dion did a duet with Andrea Boccelli on her Christmas album, These are Special Times, called The Prayer

and on A New Day Has Come, there is a song called Prayer.

But they are totally different!

Thank you both.  These'll be handy for trivia questions.
