#3 - "Chain of Fools" by Aretha Franklin
#9 - "Indian Lake" by the Cowsills
#19 - "Valerie" by the Monkees

I see my parody didn't make the cut, but I still know my oldies.

Remember, if a song is a remake or has been remade, I'm looking for the artist who had the hit with it in 1968.

And I'm also providing hints for the remaining three.

SD 1.  Didn't they try to find some good in you and me?
Abraham, Martin & John--Dion

MNIK 2.  Fire all of your guns at once
Born to Be Wild--Steppenwolf

SD 3.  You treated me mean

BF 11.  My father left, he never even married Mom
Love Child--Diana Ross & the Supremes

MNIK 12.  Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you
Mrs. Robinson--Simon & Garfunkel

13.  When I gonna finish, I do
N***** b** M*--T** H**** B****
I'm not sure these are the correct words, but it's one of the few lines of this song, written and originally recorded by the Isley Brothers, that do not contain any or part of the title of the song!
Also, dances mentioned in the song are boogaloo and Philly
Group's name--the last word originally had six letters, the "G" was somehow dropped

14.  Within the prison walls of my mind
**** ***--Gary Puckett & the Union Gap
A very simple hint:

Gary Puckett & the Union GapU

Grendle 15.  I see your face underneath my pillow
Pictures of Matchstick Men--Status Quo

BF 16.  You ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow
Revolution--The Beatles

BF 17.  And look like nothing's gonna come my way
(Sittin' on the) Dock of the Bay--Otis Redding

IG 18.  I didn't even know you, you couldn't've been too much more than ten
Think--Aretha Franklin

SD 19.  But she sure looks different than the way she looked before
Valleri--The Monkees

JAQUI 20.  You'd better think about it twice
Who's Making Love--Johnnie Taylor

FBVP 21.  And now it hurts to know the truth
Young Girl--Gary Puckett & the Union Gap (Actually, the record label referred to them on this song and their previous hit as "The Union Gap featuring Gary Puckett")

Good luck.
