I have a hazy memory of playing air guitar to it in bad Britsh heavy metal clubs in the early 80s....

The lyrics were based on the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

I don't get the Joe Cocker joke tho' - something to do with a dog cocking its leg??

No No no lol..."Mad dogs and Englishmen"  were the name of Joe Cocker's back up band  ;)
