As I said before for number 1 I only have The Bangles as the answer.  I can't prove or disprove any other answer.

Number 22 The Band is right

Number 25 asks for a group and not a duet.  It also mentions Paul Simon in the question which would be a bit of a giveaway if this were the answer, don't you think?

Number 29 is wrong

I've just checked a Wet Wet Wet website which says that Sweet Surrender only reached #6.  I'm looking for their first #1 in the U.K.
