#4 I recall hearing somewhere that "Get Back" was written by Paul McCartney as a satirical song on the racist attitudes of some British people who were looking to repatriate immigrants from the former British empire, e.g. Jamaicans, Pakistanis etc.
Didn't he have some trouble for years afterwards fielding questions on this, from people who'd heard early demos and taken the song literally as a representation of his own opinions?

I don't know what the original title was though...

#5 "Come Together" was written as a result of John & Yoko's collaboration / friendship with Timothy Leary, of "Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out" fame. Leary was running for some political office in the USA (don't know what exactly) and John wrote the song to support the campaign. Does that mean that Leary's nickname was "Old Flattop"? From images I've seen of Leary his hair was nothing like a flat top style!

Thats close enough, Ill give it to you.....the title was the "Anti-Pakistani song"..and I read in NEWSDAY that it was written because of the anti-Immigration feelings that Brits  (including Paul and John) were feeling towards Pakistan immigrants....anyway, you got it

Leary was running against Ronald Reagon for Governor of California...Leary asked John to write the song for him, and he did, but then Leary had to drop ot of the race after he was caught with acid, and John decided to put it on Abbey Road....and Old Flat-top is not Leary, its a reference to a Chuck Berry song, of which John stle the line(and I beleive Berry tried to sue him over it)..anyway, its right
