Subject: Random 1965-68 stuff...1.5 to go with clues

Written By: Paul_UK on 06/12/03 at 06:13 a.m.

Hurrah! 200 posts! Not sure if the previous 199 have made any sense to anyone or not, but I digress...

So, because of that, I've decided to whack up a lyric thing comprising of my favourite mainstream stuff that was around in between those three years...

Not sure if anyone's red hot on that era, but as I'm a charitable kind of so-and-so, there's no limit...here we go...

Clues in italics

1. Can you tell me what's ailing me
Billy Florio - Young Rascals - Good Lovin'

8. Tell me something, have you met an angel
Bobo - Chris Andrews - Yesterday Man

9. Looking fine as she could be
Billy Florio - Sir Douglas Quintet - She's About A Mover

10. I'm intellegent and clean, know what I mean

12. I got a feeling down in my shoes
MNIK - We Five - You Were On My Mind

13. Tell me just what you intend to do
Bobo - Moody Blues - Go Now

14. I see the purple shades of evening

15. I needed money 'cause I had none
MNIK - Bobby Fuller Four - I Fought The Law

16. Someone's dropped a bomb somewhere

Bobo - Roy Head - Treat Her Right

20. Frustrated women have to be in by 12 O'Clock
Billy Florio - Standells - Dirty Water

21. I can still recall when you told me I was all
Meriadoc - Paul Revere & The Raiders/ - further clue - to find this title you may have to "choose"

22. I'll change that scene one day
Taoist - Easybeats - Friday On My Mind

23. Drop a dime before I walk away
Indy Gent - Lemon Pipers - Green Tambourine
