Subject: A Diabolical Quiz - Fully Exorcised

Written By: philbo_baggins on 07/01/03 at 07:58 a.m.

All of these have the very devil in the title... except one: spot the odd one out.

Seeing as there's only ten, I guess a limit should be in order but you'll just have to show some restraint ;-)

Enjoy

Is #9 the odd one out?

It sounds as though its about Jesus.  Is it a Monty Python song?

Most of the song is about Jesus - no, it's not Python, it's somebody (already mentioned in this quiz) who actually believes all that stuff.  And no, it's not the odd one out.

Must be Cliff Richard then but can't think of another 'devil' song

Well, it was a song that rather proved itself wrong, so to speak.  (Yes, it is Cliff)

OK, thanks to the clues....

7. is "Spanish train' by Chris de Burgh

This may be the odd one out cos it doesn't have the word devil in the title but the devil does feature in the lyrics

Bummer, I just figured it out but Karen seems to have beaten me to it.

To clarify, it's "COD" by ACDC

Correct... which of course is acronymic for "Care Of the Devil"

All over now

Phil you should give Tao the points.  I was only speculating on what your clues might mean.

Of cvourse I've heard of AC/DC but not COD as a song

I think it's on For Those About To Rock, but I always liked the line I used here... like a few DC songs, it has a not-too-subtle VD connection ;-)
