Subject: Next question!

The male artist/group in these two songs also sound the same. I'm guessing the first is called "Time and space"(in the time it takes to love me, I love you, time and space won't keep us down. I see your face and my feet won't touch the ground.) My guess on the 2nd is "House of cards"(you drag this ball and chain, across the desert plain, you build a house of cards around a lovers heart. In your room all alone you watch the sky, watch the storm, coming down in your house of cards. Thanks for replys!

i know Wink Martindale (yes the Game show host) had a hit with a song (if you can even call it that) called "House of cards" in the 60s, but I highly doubt its the same thing

I don't think so Billy! Thanks though. All the lyrics I post, I've done everything from burning a copy for record store clerks, searching lyric websites and guessing the artist and the looking at every song released on their cd's! On my last thread someone wrote that Yaz and Moyet were given credit for the lyrics? Is there a song lyric search engine anyone knows of that has an infinite amount of songs? The sites I went to came up with nothing! Theres only about 15 more songs that I need when I taped them off the alternative radio station that I listened to back in the 80's. I already have Yaz and Moyet on order! Thank-you Boris! Boris, e-mail me with your favorite 80's alternative band that you don't have many songs of and your mailing address and I'm going to make you a CD! I'd like to do this for anyone who finds the artists for these songs! TKS

Fiero

A better place to post these would be the Song lyrics thread I think.

Post three or four lines of the song you want (preferably the chorus I think more peole remember this bit) and any other information such as male/female singer, tempo and sounds like such and such a band.

Have you tried Googling them at all?  I've found this to be quite a good way of finding songs.
