Up until the last 2 songs on the list, the colors are in a certain order.   The lead singer for this band plays an instrument that is somewhat unusual for a rock band.  As far as I know, this song only appears on an early sort of "Greatist Hits" album."  Band is very eclectic in their style.

12.  I can’t choose, it’s too much to lose Black is Black, definitely Los Lobos -- Paul

13.  Now you've changed your mind it seems, someone else will hold my dreams A White Sports Coat and a Pink Carnation, Marty Robbins -- Gaylon
Old pop song by someone who is more known as a country singer.  Think in the direction of towns in West Texas to remember who,

14.  Opens up one eager eye.  99 Red Balloons, Nena, The Hairy -- Paul

15.  Make love to these women, languid and bitter sweet Deacon Blues, Steely Dan -- gemini16

16.  Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day  Little Green Bag, The George Baker Selection -- Indy Gent
This 60s (I think) song was on the soundtrack of "Reservoir Dogs"

17.  So long boy you can take my place got my papers I've got my pay  Yellow River, Christie -- Paul

18.  I've had my fun and now its time to serve your conscience overseas Orange Crush, REM -- Lady Bug

19.  And then he swung from the tree and lit on the ground, he started to rock, really rockin' around  Purple People Eater, The late Sheb Wooley (sad to say) -- Paul

20.  And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true Over the Rainbow, Judy Garland -- cornwallis

21.  Just what the truth is I can't say anymore.  Nights in White Satin, The Moody Blues -- Ceramics Fanatic

22.  Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn  Black, Pearl Jam -- Bobby

23.  Every one of those words rang true and glowed like burning coal  Tangled up in Blue, Bob Dylan -- Bobby
