I was heavily influenced in the direction of 'rock' music by my older brothers but I've always had a soft spot for 'disco'...mainly because of the great childhood memories it evokes.  :)

All of those are correct!  BTW, I agree with your assessments of these songs.  I couldn't have a disco quiz without including #1 and #10.  "Please Don't Go" came in just near the end of the disco era so I figured it was worth including.  ;)
