19  Sowing The Seeds Of Love - Tears For Fears  GREAT song  :)  (Maggie Thatcher, are you listening)  :P

20  The Living Years - Mike & The Mechanics

Well we're back in the golden era of my youth here....although I'm not sure that #14 is really a great advert for a "golden era"  ::)

#10 is "Automatic" by The Pointer Sisters
#14 is "So Macho" by Sinitta (an early Simon Cowell protegee)

I also know the artist for #2 but I'll let Gis contemplate that one a bit longer!

I'm in with my 3!

13. Wang Chung, "Everybody Have Fun Tonight"
15. Whitesnake, "Is This Love?"
17. Richard Marx, "Endless Summer Nights"

Now I'll just wait for the limit to rise!

Your Pal,
Doc

Hiya Karen & Paul

I know the artist for #2 is Ottawan.

Their other big hit in the UK was "Hands Up, Give Me Your Heart", which sticks in my memory 'cos it earned me a slap from a French exchange student at a disco in my teens. I was trying to chat her up and impress her with my O-level French but in my translation of this song, "your heart" came out as something very rude in French, apparently.

Ah! That famous RnB duo...Jefferson & Starship...!!

Not right, whitewolf...so I'll throw in an extra titbit whilst young Karen's not looking...

I'm looking for a male and female duo here, who both had solo successes (the female moreso than the male...)

You're awfully quick to jump to conclusions there, whitewolf...

Your answer is correct, but your spelling of the artists' names was really off.  The song is by Roberta Flack & Peabo Bryson.
