Subject: Through The Years ~ Lyrics Quiz (Killed)

Written By: Windbreaker05 on 01/28/06 at 2:49 am

I'm sure this has been done before, but, this quiz takes a song popular in each year 1955-2006. The years are just rough times in which the song would have been popular, so don't let those hang you up too much. If the artist given is reasonable for the year, I'll take it. No real theme except they're songs I like. Give title and artist. Don't cheat. Have fun!

Initial limit = 6 Take as many as you want

I've added some additional lyrics.

I've added some hints

One last set of hints...

Maybe Marian would know more than I would, by isn't the 1956 song "Zip Zip Gal" by The Diamonds? (Don't know the tree name, though)

Well, the only other song I know of theirs is "Little Darlin'". Could that be it?
The Diamonds are a fine artist choice, but "Zip Zip" is not the song. No need to give the tree name. :) 1/2 credit!

I'm drawing a blank. :-\\

But in the meantime, the 1865 hit was "Come and Stay With Me" by Marianne Faithfull.
Nope, sorry. This one involves tintinnabulation.

The song for 1956 would be "Little Darlin'"

And I'm guessing 1990 is "Moneytalks" by ACDC?
