Subject: Henk's ReRuns (TIME'S UP - FINAL ANSWERS REVEALED)

Written By: FaultyDog on 02/12/06 at 11:33 am

This is not a new quiz. I've just reheated some leftovers from previous quizzes, to give you all one last chance of scoring some points. To keep things surveyable, I've locked the original threads. There's NO LIMIT on this quiz anymore.

For questions 30 to 48 you're even allowed to use Google Search.

Deadline is midnight, February 19.

Zat you Santa Claus - Fats Domino (Windbreaker05 / )

(*) just a reminder: in the original quiz, #42 was:
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow  ::)

#19 is (i think) Clean Rain by Vonda Sheppard?
#22 is Nothing Like the Rain by 2 Unlimited
#40 is Boys Town Gang, which still remains the best ever version of that song :)

You're absolutely right on #19 and #22, Jason.
#40 is incorrect, I'm afraid. I'm looking for the Dutch artist(s)/band that did a cover of the song. FYI: I have mentioned them already in one of your threads... ::)

So you did ;D

#40 is Gerard Joling & Tatjana

I could have sworn Boys Town Gang were dutch, or maybe they are from Holland.  I can't quite remember

Great idea for a quiz, Henk! Perhaps I should look into doing this if no one answers the last song on my current quiz within the next week or so. But I only run one quiz at a time.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure on the title for #28, but I know that the artist is Barbara Mason. (The "Yes I'm Ready" hint was a giveaway.) So do I get half credit for knowing who the artist was?

Originally had these as three separate messages, but condensed them to this one... :)

You're almost 100% on these answers, Andrew. The only one that's not 100% is #02. The two ladies are members of Heart alright, but I need their names.
Too bad you can't give me any titles... But I'm sure there's some fans out there waiting for their chance!

No worries, Jeff - you were first to name the artist.

The line I gave for #28 is actually the opening line, so I'm a bit surprised no one seemed to recognize it.

Good guess, but no, it isn't.
