How fascinating, young Karen! If I ever come across one, I'll try it!  :)

You probably won't follow this at all, but...

'Howzat' is usually heard in cricket, when a bowler will holler it rather loudly at the umpire in the hope of dismissing a batsman...it's a corruption of 'How's that?'

And (appropriately), Sherbet were an Australian band...them Aussies do like to 'rub our noses in it' when it comes to cricket!

Spot-on with those four, Paul. :)

FYI: "Feel So Real" was also in my very first lyrics quiz on this board (dont know if you remember).
Timi Yuro didn't hit Dutch Top 40 until 1981 with this song, when she made a surprise comeback that was limited to our country.

No, I'm sorry - that's not it. It's not a very well known band. It's got something to do with cattle on the run.

On this record they teamed up with a legendary deejay. This is the same deejay that's being mentioned in a song (title) by The Guess Who.

Don't know if I'm being helpful, or only adding to the confusion. :-\\

It may sound like Marvin Young, but it's not him.

You're about ten years off. This song's from late 1979, and one of the first rap records to hit the charts.

This has been one of my most successfull quizzes to date. Thanks all for playing. :)

Here are the answers you missed:

01: British rockband (Matthew Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, Dominic Howard) who also Sing For Absolution.
        Bliss - Muse

06: Artist identified as Shakespears Sister. Now all we need is a title for the song...
        Hello (Turn Your Radio On)

23: The band name is what you get from any weatherman or -woman (a three- to five-day FORECAST). Song is also the title of a popular 70s comedy series (HAPPY DAYS), with an addition in brackets (the usual cheer on a birthday).
The full title is Happy Days (Hip Hip Hooray)

39: One of the first rap records to hit the charts. Apparently, this singer had no chart success in US, although you might know him from "The Bottle" and "X-Rated Symphony". His real name is Peter Nitollano.

        Rap-O Clap-O - Joe Bataan

Fine quiz it was too, Henk...look forward to the next!

You want me to do another Fictitious Forty, or should I move on to letter G...? ???

Sadly, these are all alien to my ears... :-\\

That's not really surprising, considering the fact that neither Forecast nor Joe Bataan charted in UK. For all I know the only country they did chart were The Netherlands...

The other two songs ("Bliss" and "Hello ")  date from 2001 and 1992 respectively, so that may explain why you're not familiar with this tunes.  I know "Bliss" reached #22 in UK, and "Hello" reached #14.
