Time to move on to the next letter of the alphabet. This quiz is much like the one I did for letter A (only a tad bigger ;)), so I'm looking for songs and/or artists beginning with letter G. (I couldn't come up with a catchy theme...)

The limit is off!

I hope you enjoy this quiz as much as you did the previous one. Good luck, and please no cheating. :)

"Love Don't Let Me Go" was the bigger hit of the two (#19 compared to #38 for "Just A Little More Love").
The only other Guetta song I can think of right now is "The World Is Mine".

btw: the singer on the first two songs is Chris Willis, though I don't think he got the credits.

The song was used in a Royal Club ad (but apparently not world wide...), and was their only song to hit the Dutch charts.

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. :)

The Guys & Dolls were more popular in the Netherlands, especially of course after their move in 1980. In 1977, they had a #1 hit with "You're My World" - a song that failed to chart in UK... :-\\
I believe (Dominic) Grant & (Julie) Forsyth are still touring the Netherlands as a duo.

However, that song actually hit #1 here in 1964 in a version by Cilla Black...

Actually...neither did we!

We had four that were printed (with varying degrees of accuracy!) in the music papers, but nothing that was endorsed by the music industry! That didn't happen 'til 1969...

#56. 'Cuba' - Gibson Brothers
#57. 'Ghetto Heaven' - Family Stand
#62. 'Oops Upside Your Head' - Gap Band (commonly referred to as 'The Row Boat Song' at parties!)
#64. 'Nice And Slow' - Jesse Green

...and the artist for #43. Nana Mouskouri...

...Ah! No...she has a much lower voice than that!  ;)

It's the unmistakable voice of Demis Roussos, but I'm afraid the song doesn't ring any bells... :-\\

You're right in assuming that the hints should make it easier, yes.

The Ritchie Family ?  :)

...See? Easy like a Sunday morning! 8)

Now for the song title... it's a common phrase, used as an expression when you feel like you need to be offered an opportunity (to make a new start or remedy an error). Starts with a G of course.

Warm - first three words are right. Add one word and hey presto.

"Give me another chance" ?

Colder.

It's really a common expression, used in a broader sense than I described (but this description was the one in my dictionary).
