Hiya Gis, some great memories here....

#6  The Power Of Love - Frankie Goes To Hollywood
#8  Saving All My Love For You - Whitney Houston
#14 I Don't Wanna Dance - Eddy Grant

I remember the time when #14 was top of the charts, it was one of three consecutive reggae hits at UK #1 with Culture Club's "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?" and "Pass The Dutchie" by Musical Youth.

This has been a very entertaining series of quizzes, Gis...hope you can find the time to throw another lot at us!

#5. 'Uptown Girl' - Billy Joel

#20. I'm pretty sure this is 'A Good Heart' - Feargal Sharkey (tho' he may have been a 'fighter', as opposed to a 'trooper'...I dunno, worth a shot!)

PAUL no's 12 and 16 are yours!*

And a merry bleedin' Christmas to you... ::)

Well, Henk's admitted to half of this gruesome twosome...so I'll do the same...

#12. 'There's No-One Quite Like Grandma' - St. Winifred's School Choir

(I was the butt of countless jokes at school when some 'schoolfriend' found out that I'd bought this record and 'divulged'...

...and, ahem! Yes...it's still languishing around here somewhere!  :-[)

#12. 'There's No-One Quite Like Grandma' - St. Winifred's School Choir

St Winifred's school is quite close to my home here in south Manchester, none of my children go/went there but I drive past it most mornings after dropping off my daughter at her school.
Don't know if they still have a choir though.

St. Winifred's School Choir feature on two One Hit Wonders that reach Number One in the UK.

'There's No-One Quite Like Grandma' - St. Winifred's School Choir (in their own right)

and

Matchstalk Men And Matchstalk Cats And Dogs ~  Brian & Michael (as the backing choir)
