Subject: US & UK #5 Hits...(DONE!)

Written By: CeramicsFanatic on 01/04/07 at 12:26 pm

Aloha, everyone!  :)

Here's another quiz that Paul and I have collaborated on.  All songs in this quiz reached #5 on the charts either in the United States or the United Kingdom.  It's your job to identify the songs and the artists.

(I'm color-coding these again, which means that US hits will be in blue and UK hits will be in red.)

Hi, Gis...

Your answers for #3 and #16 are almost right, but you left out part of the title on each...

#3 is actually 'Summer Nights'...and #16 is '2-4-6-8 Motorway'... :)

Also, you left out the number for the Elton John song...

...we'll go ahead and give that one to you this time, but please don't forget in the future!  ;)

I can only give you 3 1/2 points here, as Annie Lennox was not the artist we needed for #23...

...I'm afraid you need to go back a number of years!  :D

If you'll notice at the introduction to this quiz, I said that Paul and I had collaborated on this one... :)

Must be Procol Harum then. I assumed they made it to #1 (they did so twice in The Netherlands), that's why I answered Annie Lennox.
