You didn't say which medleys they are from, so zero points for you :P
Just kidding ;) You get 2½ out of 3. Bend Me, Shape Me is correct, but the version I used isn't The American Breed

oh, sorry about that whistledog, you can tell I'm hitting 50, definitely need to get out my reading glasses, anyway #6 & #8 is from Medley 1 and #9 is from Medley 2; I knew that wasn't American Breed on that tune, but I didn't even know that there was a remake of the song, it will be interesting to see who the artist is on that one. Did the original version come out in the 60s?

Medley 2, Song 7: A Dutch group with a British lead singer, with a song from 1983. I believe it reached #27 in the Dutch chart. In Canada, it was popular in the Dance chart
Starting at the End - Doris D. and the Pins
Dude...I totally missed the hints. When did you put them up? ???

'bout 2 days after I posted the quiz. I was going to leave it idle with the hints for a while longer, but I wanted to do a thread on Japan, and since Life in Tokyo hadn't been solved yet, I ended the quiz early

Well, it was a nice quiz (again). :)
I had a listen again, but I still doubt if I would ever have recognized the Doris D song. It's too short IMHO, and without vocals it could be just about anything. :-\\

I was gonna use parts with vocals, but the instrumental portion blended so well within the medley. lol
