#2 Davy Jones appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show the same night as the Beatles. Jones was a member of the cast of the Broadway Show Oliver (he played the Artful Dodger) who preformed the song (I believe) "Concider Yourself".

BTW, you didn't mention how Michael Nesmith was the driving force behind the creation of MTV.

That is very true.  He was also a major producer and creater of the first generation of music videos.

Michael created and produced the show Pop Clips for the fledgling Nickelodeon cable network.  It was then bought by Time Warner, and turned into MTV.

I am a huge fan of Michael, and love all of his works.  In addition to creating mainstream films (Timerider, Repo Man), he was also a successfull distributor of other shows (his company Pacific Arts Video was the original distributor for the Ken Burns documentaries).

The main reasin I decided to make this quiz is that I finally got my hands on their movie Head.  And I am actually watching it at this time.  Talk about a surrealistic mind-messing movie!  I am surprised it is not being used in psychology classes.

head is quite cool. kathie talked me into seeing it a few months ago.

i love the song in the very beginning when they dive off the bridge into the water. i forget the name, which is why i'm not qualified to play this quiz. although believe it or not i knew the white-out thing, sorta vaguely...kathie had told me about that too.

Micky directed some of Mike's Television Parts.

Mike also does a cameo in Repo Man.

I have yet to see Head. (Have to see if Netflix has it). The problem is, talking Carlos into watching it. It is bad enough that he watched MST3K with me, but to watch another bad movie (without Mike/Joel, Crow, and Tom making cracks), that might take a lot of presuasion.

Sorry to get off topic. Back to the quiz.
