Subject: CryptiQuiz: For the "L" Of It- HINTS ADDED, NO LIMIT

Written By: HawkTheSlayer on 02/12/08 at 3:57 am

After a lengthy break, I decided it was time to re-ignite the torch, and pick up where I left off, so....

At long last! Lengthy linguistics leave me no leisure, but lash at me for my own lacconic-ness.
Let's luminate on the list.

Latch onto points, as the list locutes.
Extra points linger in one lock.
Leeching the list will last about as long as a broken leg of lamb in a Linguini factory.
Let's go!

LIMIT: Off!

1. What you would expect Joan Jett to wear. Lipstick & Leather- Y&T (Loki)
A piece of make-up, and a type of fabric....
2. Slang for addressing a past Monarch of France. Louie, Louie- The Kingsmen (karen)

3. Demanding a refund on your existence.
Think- a citrus fruit, and Eddie....
4. Amore, and another. Love Plus One- Haircut 100  (karen)

5. Cleopatra, as a child. Little Queen- Heart (Loki13)

6. These initials could be mistaken for a new drug.
This Irish group also had a "club foot"
7. Make me like a good steak, with your affection. Love Me Tender- Elvis Presley (karen)

8. Small Bill, or what women tend to mock on a man. Little Willy- The Sweet (karen/Henk)

9. What people yell when attending sports matches, such as boxing, wrestling, hockey, etc. Let's See Action- The Who (Henk)
"Who" could forget this statement?
10. Somewhat nasty way of requesting oral sex. Lick My Love Pump- Spinal Tap (maddog)

11. Those vision orbs betray what really happened. Lyin' Eyes- Eagles (karen/Loki)
I'll give you a "bird"...the U.S. one!
12. The heart's emotion can conquer any situation or challenge.
This quartet talked about how amore uses a map...
13. Something you could call a lothario. Loverboy- Billy Ocean (Loki/Doc B)
This one sang about his "Caribbean Queen"
14. The previous Yule. Last Christmas- Wham!  (karen)

15. I can't find my way out of the aloha! ?- Rod Stewart (Henk)
This "footloose & fancy free" singer asked us about Young Turks once.
16. Fortunate individuals. Lucky Ones- ? (whistledog)
This group is Canadian.....'A'
17. Perched on the knee of one treated like a king. ?- Rick Springfield (bookmistress)
Former soap opera star turned rocker, and proved to be "Hard To Hold"
18. What Kenny Rogers would have done with the inspiration of his song.
I would tell you this inger, but you can't really understand a word he says!
19. A certain popular citrus fruit. Lemon- U2 (ninny/whistledog)

20. My residence is near your toilet, thank you.
A British rhythm....and the toilet is where?
-Let's look at who leaves in a loggerhead!
