Hi Henk

Here's some more guesses and "tidy ups" from me:

1977 hits

#52 Ain't Gonna Bump No More With No Big Fat Woman - Joe Tex
I'm not sure you could get away with these lyrics these days!

Up and Under

#52 the song is "Under the Boardwalk" but I don't know the artist
#57 the singer sounds like Jakki Graham but I don't recognise the song
#61 The Technotronic song must be "Get Up" but I don't know who featured on this track. Somewhere from the back of my mind I have dredged up "Technotronic featuring Felly" - is that it???

#64. Call Up The Groups ~ The Barron Knights

Argh. Another one of those "right artist, wrong song" ones. :( I think this was one of their less successful songs.

Thought I'd hold back on this occasion...

Se7ens #56. 'Requiem' - Slik (wonder if Midge ever sings this these days?  :D)
#59. 'Goodbye My Love' (I'll guess that this is The Searchers, although it sounds a bit 'modern' compared to my copy!)
#63. 'Everybody Knows' - Dave Clark Five

Up And Under #51. 'A Wonderful Time Up There' - Alvin Stardust
#53. 'Rip It Up' - Bill Haley & His Comets
#60. 'Under One Roof' - Rubettes (a very brave song to release at the time...)
#64. 'Under New Management' (sadly, it appears one of the original Knights, Duke D'Mond, passed away recently... :()

A nearly perfect score, Paul. I'm afraid the "Up and Under" song #53 is incorrect (both on title and artist).
Other than that... a great job again! :)

I might've used a re-recorded version of the Searchers's song here, I'm not sure. But it didn't fool you! :D

Ah! Got it now!

It's 'Giddy Up A Ding-Dong' - Freddie Bell & The Bell Boys

...who, in my defence, did model themselves on Bill Haley & His Comets!

(Believe that and you'll believe anything!  ;))

In my defense: you've modified your earlier reply instead of posting a new one. I only check for new replies.

That said, you were right of course with #53, and now you're right about #52.

DOH!

#115 is Street Legal, Canada's answer to L.A. Law.  I never really watched this show, so the theme would never have come to me without hints LOL

I knew I recognized it ...
#120 is the 80s verison of 'Let's Make A Deal' that wasn't hosted by Monty Hall :P

Street Legal it is! :)
Although the tune was labelled 'Street Legal' I wasn't quite sure at first whether it was indeed the right tune. Somehow it just didn't seem to fit the series... Found out (via YouTube) that this was in fact the seasons 1 & 2 opening theme only.

A good guess, but no.  :( I believe I already used that tune in my original TV Tunes quiz, btw.

You need a plane to get there.

I wasn't sure anyone (even you guys down under) would recognize #103, but I'm glad I'm proven wrong. ;)

#108 is correct too, but #122 isn't Medivac. The patients in this series were - by definition - always under a certain age.

The song had already been answered, Amanda. :( I'm still looking for the singers.

Spot-on! :)  This was the only tune I could lay my hands on. The series in question may have aired in US alone, I'm not sure.

Heh! You didn't fool me for a second with your postings on the 70s YouTube thread, Henk... ;)

(Once again, believe that and you'll believe anything!  :D)

So here they are...

1977 songs

#57. 'Double Dutch' - Fatback Band
#61. Walker Brothers
#62. 'From Here To Eternity' - Giorgio Moroder

#7 songs

#58. 'If You Know What I Mean'

...and wherever you're off to, have a great vacation, Henk!  :)

I do believe #126 is an American Soap Opera theme.  Perhaps General Hospital?

Well, I can clear up the 'audio' side of things for you, Henk...

Up And Under #54. 'Clean Up Your Own Back Yard' - Elvis Presley

...and the featured vocalist on #61. is Ya Kid K

Sadly, I'm not an avid TV watcher, so someone else will have to complete the TV section...sorry!

OK, since I'm off on vacation later today and I won't be around for another two weeks... here's what you missed:

TV Tunes, Themes & Things
119. is the theme tune to 'Only Fools And Horses'
124. is the theme tune for 'Salute Your Shorts" - I'm sure the series have been mentioned around here.
126. is the 2002 to 2007 version of the opening tune of 'As The World Turns'. I couldn't use any of the earlier ones without giving away the title LOL.
