So instead you’re getting this lyrics quiz.
You know the drill: name the song and artist (NOTE: it’s not always the original artist I’m after).
A point for each correct answer.
But that’s not all: there’s also the question of the theme…
All songs and/or artists have something in common (fairly easy, I’d say).
That's right - (nearly) all artists are deceased. Sad but true.

The song I'm thinking of may not have been a hit in Canada.
I don't think Malcolm McClaren fits the theme, but I just realised I was thinking of him and picturing Johnny Rotten so who knows!
Sadly, Malcolm McLaren has passed away in 2010, so he does fit the theme.
Johnny Rotten is not in this quiz.

I know the MJ and Karen Young songs, but not well enough to had gotten them by the lyrics. I gave that Gately song a listen, and that was the one I was thinking of, but I couldn't remember the title.
