Delieverence -1972  One of the most important movies of the 70s that seems to be remembed only for the one scene where Ned Beatty is told to squeal like a pig and then rapped....that and the theme song dueling banjos (which is false advertising since its a banjo and a guitar)....a great movie that all should see...espeically if you dont like Ned Beatty lol.....5
Love and Death-1976 This is my favorite Woody Allen movie....it was the one he did right after Sleeper and right before Annie Hall....It is one of the best wwritten intelligent comedies ever....Woody is at his height right here....5
Terminator 2: Judgement Day-1990  While it is a great movie, I just never thought it was as good as everyone made it out to be...its highly overrated in my book...it is one of the greatest movies of the 90s though.....4
Half Baked -1998?  well, its funny as hell...not much of a plot line, but funny as hell....3.75
Being John Malcolvich-1999  This is one of the greatest comedies of all time as well.....I love this movie...it is just so weird and so disturbing that it is perfect..CHarlie Kauffman is a genius....5!
Fight Club-1999  This is another great movie that follows in the foot steps of Stanley Kubricks A clockwork Orange....it is a highly psycological movie....ure some people are put off by the fight scenes, but if you look past theme, youll see a work of art....4
Airplane!-1980  c'mon...one of the funnyist movies of all time...this is a pure classic that if youve never seen, then Ill have to send Zucker-Anderson-Zucker to your house to force you to watch this, and then Top Secret as punishment lol.....5
Clerks-1994  Kevin Smiths best...this echoed in the begining of the Slacker film maker era....this film, though in b&w is one of the funnyist films of the 90s....the cartoon was hillarious as well....4.5
The Great Dictator-1936  ok, the first Charlie CHaplin film which he speaks....it is regarded as one of the greqatest films ever....when it was relaesed it wasnt accepted well...it wasnt until years later, when we relaized that this film was a foreshadowing masterpiece.....if anyones never seen it, CHaplin plays a Hitler-esk character who is taking over Europe exactly like Hitler did...before Hitler did anything!....4
the Jerk-1978  C'mon...look at my icon.....a incredably funny movie..it was the first collaberation between Steve Martin and Carl Reiner, and Steve Martins first staring role....it has got so many funny lines, but the one I wanted to use as my quote here I felt wouldnt have gone over well....when Steve Martin writes back to his family fter he meets the stunt biker girl.."oh, and may be getting more work next week...my girlfriends promised me a blo..."...you know what, lets not write that one here.....5
the Manchurian Canditate-1963/1987  this is one of the most important movies of all time....this movie has been parodied so much I bet  you havent even realized it....Frank Sinatra has never been better...5
Star Wars: A new Hope-1977  cmon..5
Birth of a Nation-1915  alright, to be honest, Ive never actully seen it....it is supposedly one of the greatest movies ever from DW Griffith, but also one of the most contriversial....I mainly just put this movie here just to see what others think about it....it looks like it backfired.....but from what Ive heard, if you look past the blatent pro-KKK stuff, its actully a really good movie
Do the right thing-1989  im sorry, but I do not like this movie...I have nothing against Spike Lee, but this movie bored the hell out of me and basicly gave the impression that the white man is pure evil....im sorry, I do not like it...1
Dogma-1998?  Kevins smiths second greatest movie...while its not his funnyist, it is well written, and deals with the importance of faith...4.5
Death to Smoochy-2002  everybody bad mouths it...it wasnt that bad....3.75
One Hour Photo-2002wow..this movie is beyond disturbing..Robin WIlliams is excellent in the role of Sy...and he provides a few laughs to lighten up the place.....wow..watch it...3.75
the Terminator-1984  better than both sequals....excellent excellent movie.....5
Annie Hall-1977  well, Im probably gonna get yelled at, but this movie is overrated!  I cant beleive it beat star wars for best picture....for some reason its considered one of the funnyist movies of al time, well....its not ...granted its got its insanely funny parts, but it is nowhere near one of the top 5 funnyist.....its a interesting movie that uses tecniques that not many used at the time....its got its good points, but its also got some boring points....but every romantic movie afterwards did steal something from it (ie Chaising Amy, When Harry Met Sally...etc) all of these tryed to replicate this movie in some way....I dont know why.....3.5
Arlington Road-1998  The begining is good...the ending is definitly one of the best twists ever, but the middle is boring.....it was a great concept (and if you see this movie, remember it came out before September 11th), but it loses something int he middle....it could have been better written...the ending though..wow...now, at one point I predicted the ending, and I was right, but I was still blown away( no pun intended) by the ending,,wow....the movie is worth it just for the ending......3.5
