Subject: Rate The Ratings

Here's an idea I cooked up: Name the MPAA rating which, in your opinion, most of the good movies come from. For example, if you like PG movies the best, you'd pick PG on down to the least favorite. The American ratings are G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17. British or others use the system from your country.

our system is M/6 , M/12, M/16, M/18.

the m is for "maiores" meaning older than.
no matter what we can still watch every movie no matter what your age is so its stupid but oh well.
I like M/12 better but some M/16 are good too, usually M/18 is rare, I have never seen a movie from the 80's rated M/18 here. Repo Man was M/16 and so as My Bloody Valentine, Halloween and more horror movies. But since my favorite movies are all like Pretty In Pink, i'de pick M/12.

In the American system I can't really say because I dont watch american dvds since for me its zone 2 (pal).

I do know the british system because it appears on the dvd (on the disk not on the cover) so I like 15 rated movies.

Most good movies are rated R.  There are some good ones that are PG13.  Willy Wonka is awesome though, and that's G.

It all depends on the movie.  I rarely pay attention to the ratings.  But like Wicked said....most good movies are rated R.  I tend to prefer action, thriller movies so I guess I lean towards R rated movies the most.
