Led Zeppelin
I don't know a lot about this band. Did they do Smoke on the water? That's not a bad song.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Not a fan
Queen
Classical based rock band. Most of their songs are excellent. Especially Killer Queen, Fat bottomed girls and Don't stop me now.
Meatloaf
A little melodramatic but his powerful rock ballads are pretty unique. If only they were shorter . . .
Billy Joel
One of my all time favourite singers. There isn't much I don't like of his. Favourite songs include Uptown Girl, Innocent man, Christie Lee and This night.
Steppenwolf
I only know Born to be wild - Not a bad song
The Rolling Stones
Not my cup of tea but I do like Start me up and It's still rock 'n' roll but I like it.
The Beatles
Sometimes they were alright. Some stuff I couldn't get into (like Eleanor Rigby and Penny Lane)
The Band  ???
Bob Marley
Not really fussed on him.
AC/DC
I know little about them. I do know they are the longest serving band never to hit the top 10 in Britain. However, I do like TNT and Highway to hell.
Creedance Clearwater Revival
Only know Bad moon rising - but I like it
Otis Redding
Only know Sitting on the dock of the bay - alright song
Black Sabbath
Only know Paranoid - which was alright as well.

I cant rate bands by number...Ill comment on them all:

Led Zeppelin  WOW!  amazing amazing band!  they just have so many great songs..wow..."Black dog", "nobodys fault but mine" "Hey hey what canI do" "The lemon song" "Dazed and confused" "communication breakdown" "Misty mountain hop" "Rock and roll" "You shook me" so many many more...
The Jimi Hendrix Experience Hendrix was amazing...just a pure fusion of rock and blues...amazing songs like "If 6 was 9" and "Vodoo chile (slight return)" and "Purple haze" "the wind crys mary" etc
Queen  hmm..this was a slightly weird band...I could never pin them to a exact style...they could do something incredably rockin' like "Stone cold crazy" and then jump into a beautiful operatic piece like "Somebody to love" or "Youre my best friend", and then do a rockabilly anthem like "Crazy little thing called love" or a dance song like "Another one bites thedust"...they were a great band, just a weird one
Meatloaf  a one demensional artist, but he had some great songs(all thanks to Jim Stienman)..."All reved up and no place to go", "Paradise by the dashboard light" "bat out of hell" etc
Billy Joel  my all time favorite artist....no other comments needed
Steppenwolf  they were a great band that I think only had 3 hits "Born to be wild", "magic carpet ride" and "the pusher"
The Rolling Stones  my all time favorite BAND....just so many great songs in their pre 1974 collection......pure rock and roll spirit
The Beatles  after Help!, they were amazing...before Help!,they mostly had crap....Im sorry, but I cant stand "I wann hold your hand" or "she loves you", well, unless theyre the German versions lol  ;D
The Band  a great band, that it seems no oneknows...hmm..they were once called the Hawks and backed up Bob Dylan...great songs from RObbie Robertson and crew like "The weight", "Up on cripple creek" and "The night they drove old dixie down"
Bob Marley  regae was never my thing, but he was a good artist
AC/DC  they were their best with Bon Scott, after he died they did well, but never could be the same (though "you shook me all night long" is my all time favorite by them)
Creedance Clearwater Revival  they were just amazing...just purely amazing
Otis Redding  I dont care what you say, he was underrated....a great artist...
Black Sabbath  wow, another incredably great band.....they should be int he Rock and roll hall of fame
