Bit of a cross-section here...a lot of which I don't know!

Heroes & Villains - Beach Boys 3
Positively fractured, it apparently sounds a lot different than was originally intended (not heard this version myself...)

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway - Genesis 4
I'll assume this is the title track and not the entire LP...fine stuff which really broke 'em big, probably a tad 'difficult' for those not into the Gabriel years, but the whole LP's worth the effort...

Karn Evil 9 - Emerson, Lake & Palmer 5
Heavy-going for the uninitiated, but worthwhile...

Dogs - Pink Floyd 4
All bitter-and-angst-ridden stuff, but super, nonetheless...

Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying - Gerry & The Pacemakers 3
Fine middle-paced effort from the Scousers, but I've probably heard it once too often...

Rich Girl - Hall & Oates 4
Long-standing staple of FM radio, but it's still a lot better than their later stuff...

I Wanna Be Your Lover - Prince 3
Fairly pedestrian piece, but it's still a lot better than his later stuff...

Bluebirds Over The Mountain - Beach Boys 3
Attractive version, but the tune's not all that as a whole...

Stay In My Corner - The Dells 4
Fine effort from undeservedly overlooked RnB group...best of their stuff was done in the 50's...

Gimme All Your Lovin' - ZZ Top 3
Typical 'chug-rock' thing...okay at a pinch...

Father And Son - Cat Stevens 4
Clever song and performance...I'll make an 'honourable' mention of B*yzone's version, which managed to strip all trace of feeling and pathos from it...!

You've Got A Friend - James Taylor 4
Probably too sickly for some, but I like...
