I have not seen any of those movies listed. I did see the 3 night mini-series of " Traffic" and THAT should have been a regular show.

I picked other as the only one I have seen ( that I can recall ) that had multiple characters and storylines was " Pulp Fiction ".

As far as multiple characters but one basic storyline I have seen too many to list here.

Yes, I suck, don't flame me. ;)

I omitted Pulp Fiction for the simple fact that I forgot, plus I didn't care too much about it. So flames all round for me too, Red Ant. ;)

Traffic and Do The Right Thing get my vote. However, I like most of Spike Lee's and Quentin Tarentino's films b/c they use this technique.

Large Ensemble Cast and Multi-Plot Storyline ?
Sounds like your typical Robert Altman film.

I didn't go with Nashville, but Other -- "Car Wash" from 1976.

Same here, as that's the only one I've seen that I can think of at the moment.  :)

The sillent film Birth of the Nation, directed by DW Griffith certainly had a huge cast and several storylines.

A good pick, Philip, but that film's frowned upon on this side of the ocean.

"Intolerance" would be a more acceptable pick nowadays. It's also an excellent silent film.

Thanks, I was trying remember the title for Intolerance, I knew that DW Griffith did two big silent films.
