Gum. I loved getting the Wonka Thrills, the gum that tastes like soap. They might not sound tasty, but believe me ... they were :)

Candy bars. That was Grade-A Halloween candy.
(except for the people who gave out boxes of Cracker Jack one year)
All was good, except for apples. Apples are good, but it's not the time or place to give out healthy fruit on Halloween!

This is totally out of season, but I picked candy bars.
M&Ms or Starbursts would be my next choices.
Wax candy would be near the bottom of my barrel. :P

I find candy bars with chocolate to be the greatest candy found on Halloween usually. Even though I don't celebrate Halloween anymore since I feel like that I'm old for it, I feel like the chocolate makes the holiday decent.
