He's also underrated as a guitar player - did you see him throw down at the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame when they inducted George Harrison - he played the lead part on When My Guitar Gently Weeps - my jaw hit the floor

His pre-83 stuff was bearable, but he became very over-rated after that...file under 'U2'...

Apart from his album "1999" ... the only GOOD Prince song I thought was "Cream"
